The Circuit of Wales development has been designed by Populous, a global architectural firm specialising in the construction of sports facilities, arenas and convention centres, as well as the planning of major special events.
Populous is known for its focus on spectator experiences and fan engagement. It has designed both the Sydney and London Olympic venues, Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, Tottenham Hotspurs’ new White Hart Lane stadium, Wimbledon’s new Centre Court and roof while also creating the Dubai Autodrome and Business Park. It has completed 2,000 projects globally with a construction value in excess of $30 Billion.
The circuit has already attracted favourable comment from the motorsport community for its fast and flowing lines alongside the key differentiator, which is its topography and 48 metre rise and fall.
