Great news for BritishMotoGP™ fans the 2017 race will take place earlier in the summer next year, with three entertainment fueled days taking place at Silverstone Circuit over the August Bank Holiday weekend (August 25 - 27).
The new summer Bank Holiday date ensures a better chance of warm and sunny weather (important if you plan to camp and/or watch from one of the great open air viewing points around the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit) and
gives fans the option of returning home on Bank Holiday Monday giving them more time to enjoy the great Race Day Party that will be held after the racing has finished on Sunday evening.
In addition to the sensational on track action, courtesy of the best riders in the world competing for the MotoGP™, Moto2™ and Moto3™ world titles, there will be big emphasis on family entertainment next year in the new Grand Prix Village with live bands on stage to entertain the crowds every night, a bigger family fairground, more displays and a bigger variety of food and drink outlets.
